three nice books for the 100th day of faculty

Can you believe we’re more than halfway there with the 2022-2023 school year? 🤯 If you and your students are celebrating the 100th day of school, our friends at Random House Children’s Books have three great read-aloud books that we recommend. It’s also fun to recommend these 100th Day of School books to families so students can celebrate their achievements at home.

You can also enter right here until February 3rd to win all the books from the 100th day!

Harry vs. the First 100 Days of School by Emily Jenkins, illustrations by Pete Oswald

If you haven’t already read this warm-hearted and funny chapter book, you’re in for a treat – it’s about a first-grader’s first 100 days of school and adjusting to the ups and downs of classroom and family life. It’s also written in 100 short chapters, so if you start now you can be ready by the big day!

Activity to try: While writing a 100 chapter story might be a little intimidating for your kids, you could try writing a 100 sentence or 100 word story!
